Throughout the years green has slowly become my favorite color. I started slowly just recycling cans and plastics in bins that were provided by our county, but being green has become some sort of family challenge in our house.

Greening a lunch
One of my latest "green" efforts has been to reduce waste when packing a lunch. My kids and I pack many picnic lunches
I pack in reusable containers. Target currently has some really cute separated containers that even include a fork and knife on top. They cost $2.99 and come in fun colors.
